Veterans and the Red Tail Project Honored by the Twins
The Minnesota Twins Baseball Team honored veterans at a noon game on September 7th
and featured the Red Tail Project in the presentation.

WWII Navy Veteran Bob Carlson, who survived the sinking of the U.S.S Oklahoma during the attack on Pearl Harbor, was surrounded by friends at the event.
WWII Marine Veteran Charles Lindberg, who helped raise the first flag on Iwo Jima's Mt. Suribachi.
Pilot Ken Dahlberg shot down four enemy planes and was shot down himself several times.
A full display of the Red Tail project was on hand and manned by Voila employees Shelly Burr and LaVone Weer.
Twins staffer Travis Gorshe was instrumental in making the event happen.
