Scott Perry's story, the experience of being "the new guy".
"In early April, Jayson Hueur (My supervisor at ATS) asked if I would like to come volunteer at an air show Memorial Day Weekend.  Having been around airplanes my whole life (father is a pilot and an airline mechanic) I jumped at the opportunity to be up close and personal to my favorite airplanes of them all, the Warbirds.  Jayson said that he would put my name on the list and we would go from there.  In May, Jayson informed me that I was on the list to work the show and I was ecstatic.  When the weekend finally came around, I was excited and could not wait to get to the airport and get my hands dirty.  Everyone was really nice and I got along with everyone right off the bat.  Jayson and David took the time to explain to me my duties and responsibilities.  By the day of the air show, I knew exactly what to expect and the day went by without any problems or confusion.  After the show was over, we assembled at the OC and just hung out together.  It was a great opportunity for me to get to know the crew that I would be spending the rest of the weekend with and we had a great time.  All in all, the weekend was fantastic!  I had a blast and I will definitely be back again."
